The goal with the new FAST (Foot Actuating System Technology was revolutionize the original steering system created by SIC.
The new system is focus on easy use and safety. The Tiller arm can be set for regular or goofy paddlers easily.
We had improved the safety futures and minimized the mechanics components; changed the cables down for push rods and multiple fail over system should you encounter a problem at the beach or sea.
The steering mechanism features a low profile high quality injection molding tiller arm with EVA foam padding for grip and comfort. The Tiller arm utilized a “C” spring that always return the rudder to zero degree when is not in use. The dummy tiller can be switched with the active tiller arm in minutes to change from regular to goofy footed paddlers. The all new push rods come pre-installed and the push rods can be harvested and replaced with the spare push rod in event of equipment failure.
